EASTER EGG HUNT

The time finally came for the kids to line up at their doors to hunt for eggs.

This was Malie's 1st Easter Egg Hunt. She was mostly interested in chewing on the basket.

Hunter and Jordyn, this is Hunter's last year as a midsized kid. Next year he gets to join the big kids.

The little kids hunt was no challenge for Lyndi.

Kenedy and the other midsized kids had to work harder to find their  eggs. 

The kids had fun when all of the eggs were collected, going through them to see what goodies were in them.

HIDING EGGS

After we ate it was time to hide Easter Eggs. There were 3 huge baskets of plastic eggs. One for the little kids, up to age 5, one for 5-11 and one for 12 and up.

The degree of difficulty depended on the age of our hunters.  

For the babies it was easy.

The Mid-sized kids had to work a little harder.

Everyone had fun trying to hide the eggs for the teens in the hardest and most creative ways possible.

FAMILY EASTER DINNER 3/30/13

On the afternoon of March 30 we gathered at Aunt Karen's home for our annual Easter Celebration. As we waited for everyone to arrive we gathered to relax and visit.

Jordyn staked out the most comfortable chair to lounge in.

When everyone finally arrived we ate.

 

There was plenty of food and yummy deserts.

AMIGURUMI DUCKS

Every couple of years I decide I need to make Amigurumi critters for the nursery for Easter. This year I decided ducks were the way to go. Ami critters are easy to make, but they have lots of pieces to assemble.

They are really cute when they are complete.

This is part of this years flock.

They were a little to large for the eggs I bought to put them in, so I had to tape them closed.
