BABY SHOWFOR KELSEY, FRANK AND BABY ABEL

On January 26 we gathered at Aunt Karen's home for a baby shower for Kelsey, Frank and baby Abel.

The decorations were cute.

A lot of diapers were needed for the cake and bouquet.

The food was yummy.

We played games.

And then Kelsey opened gifts. They got a lot of nice things for the baby.

I picked out a afghan pattern and colors as soon as I found out Kelsey was having a boy. I worked on it at work until it got too big to spread on my desk and still do my work. With the holidays and moving it got put aside, until the week before the shower. I put in some late nights that week, but I finished the night before. It came out really cute, if I do say so myself.

Ben and Rebecca got married on Jan 12. I attended the reception that evening.

There was lots of family and friends in attendance.

REBECCA'S BRIDAL SHOWER

On January 4 we gathered at Aunt Karen's house for Rebecca's Bridal Shower. Aunt Karen had to go to Utah for a funeral, but she opened her home for us to use for the party.

We had lots of treats.

One involved Sandra reading questions she had asked Ben, and Rebecca had to guess if he answered it right. When she was wrong, she had to chew another piece of gum.

NURSERY GRADUATION

December 30 was Nursery Graduation. We only had 4 of the 8 graduates on that day. They sure were excited to move onto bigger and better things.

The other significant part of this day was that it was also my last day in the Nursery, a sad day for me.

After Santa visited with all of  children and they had checked out what he brought them, the family gift boxes came out.

I took my gifts home to unwrap on Christmas morning.

As usual everyone worked hard to be creative.
