EASTER EGG HUNT

After dinner we had our annual Easter Egg hunt. The yard is divided into 3 zones, the backyard for the smallest hunters, side yard for the midsized kids and the front for the teens. The eggs are also divided by age, with some containing age appropriate treats.

EASTER DINNER

As is tradition we gathered with our extended family for Easter Dinner on the Saturday before Easter. As always we had a feast of food and fellowship.

AMIGURUMI DUCKS AND BASKETS

I decided to make some quick amigurumi ducks 

out of thread and put them in little baskets for 

my nursery kids for Easter.

ANOTHER FINISHED AFGHAN

I finished another afghan.

My goal was to deliver it at the family 

Easter party on April 19.

FAMILY HISTORY NIGHT

On April 11 we gathered at Cindy's house to work on family history together. We were few in numbers, but everyone worked hard.

BRIANNA'S MISSION CALL OPENING

On March 29 we gathered at Lori & Tom's for the opening of Brianna's long awaited mission call. 

Brianna was excited and nervous and it was difficult to get a clear picture.

PTCB CLASS

In early March I started taking a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board class, with the goal of passing the certification exam. My employer offers the class several time a year, 4 hours a week for 7 weeks.

We memorized drug names with their generics and drug classes, studied pharmacy law, and learned a lot of math. 

The math was brutal.

Every Thursday was test day.

 

Its been a lot of years since I had to stretch my brain so far and I quite liked it. 

ABEL'S 1ST BIRTHDAY

On the afternoon of February 15 after the Temple open house we gathered at Aunt Karen's for Abel's 1st Birthday party.

There was lots of food and fun decorations

and a Pinata

and, of course, presents

GILBERT AZ TEMPLE OPEN HOUSE

On the morning of February 15 Leanne and I joined Aunt Karen, cousins Cindy, Rich, Celisse and Caralie as well as Abel and his Grandma Veronica to tour the new Gilbert Temple. It is a beautiful building. I didn't have a camera with me so I borrowed some pictures from Cindy's Blog .

CARA'S BABY SHOWER

The baby shower for Cara was held at Aunt Karen's on Jan 11.

There were cute decorations
