After the egg hunt we had birthday cake and cupcakes and ice cream
Lyndi had a Rapunzel cake, that I didn't get a picture of, but it was cute and tasted good.
Randy and Kim brought their bouncy house as part of Lyndi's birthday celebration.
It was a beautiful evening to sit on the back patio and visit.

EASTER EGG HUNT APRIL 7, 2012

The Easter Egg Hunt was presided over by our own little Easter Bunny Amelia.
We had plenty of eggs to hide

The bag behind the baskets was also full.

Eggs were hidden in the front yard for the teens, any place is fair game for the big kids
The side yard was for the tweens (6-9)
The back yard was for the babies, eggs were pretty easy to find.
The small folk got plenty of eggs and other goodies like mini play doh.

And they were happy just playing with the eggs.
As per tradition all of the kids in attendance gathered for a picture.
And here are the picture takers.

AMIGURUMI BUNNIES

From Wikipedia:
Amigurumi (編みぐるみ?, lit. crocheted or knitted stuffed toy) is .the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures.
Amigurumi have no practical use; they are created and collected for aesthetic reasons.[2] The pervading aesthetic of amigurumi is cuteness. To this end, typical amigurumi animals have an over-sized spherical head on a cylindrical body with undersized extremities, usually termed a chibi style outside of Japan. Amigurumi may be used as children's toys but are generally purchased or made solely for aesthetic purposes.

This year for Easter I decided to make Amigurumi Bunnies. Amigurumi are easy patterns and make cute little toys.
I started in February and made all of the parts. I started assembling and adding details over conference weekend.
I made a small army of Bunnies, by Sunday they will all have new homes.
This is my third Ami Army.
In 2008 I tried my 1st Bunnies.
In 2010 I went with an army of chicks
I love Ami critters
