CHOCOMALLOW BROWNIES

This is a recipe Mom used to make for parties and other times when just plain Brownies weren't quite enough.

Cream together:

1/2 LB Margarine

2 C Sugar

1/3 C Cocoa

Add 4 eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each.

Mix in:
1 1/2 C flour

1/4 tsp salt

2 tsp Vanilla

1-1 1/2 C Nuts (optional)

Spread on a greased jelly roll pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

Spread entire package of Mini marshmallows on top of the hot brownies and return to the oven for 3-5 minutes.

Cool.

ICING:1/4 lb margarine

1/3C evaporated milk

1/3 C cocoa

2 C powdered sugar

Heat evaporated milk with melted margarine. Add remaining ingredients & spread over the marshmallows.

Let stand overnight before cutting & serving.

I couldn't wait any longer. Baked these TONIGHT. They are possibly my new BFFs. HOWEVER; I didn't happen to notice the part about letting it sit over night... [GASP!] When it comes to chocolate, I'm pretty much an instant gratification gal. SO. I skipped the mallow part and modified the frosting so that it was creamed/whipped, not melted. I'm thinking about blogging about it, it came out SO good. THANK YOU!! Dessert inspiration.
(funny word verification: "matin," which is french for MORNING! Hah.
