On July 24, 1847 the Mormon Pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley by covered wagon
and Handcart
As the sat in a clearing that overlooked the valley Brigham Young declared, "This is the place."
I am indebted to my, ancestors who gave up lives of comfort and relative ease to walk across the plains, to find some place that they could live in peace.
